Newborn Photoshoot
The best age for a photo shoot of a newborn baby — up to 14 days, but in some cases, the photo shoot is possible up to 1 month.
Each package includes my experience and talent, all the necessary photography equipment, outfits for the baby, baskets, and backdrops. Everything is included in the price—no additional payments are required.
Before the photoshoot, I will answer all your questions and provide recommendations. Usually, no special preparations are needed—I just need a well-fed baby, a pacifier, and mom nearby.
After the session, I will send you a gallery from which you can choose the best photos (the number depends on the selected package). I will edit them and send you a download link. All photos are provided in digital format (except for packages that include a photo book). You can also choose extra photos ($25 per photo).
Once you’ve selected your favorite images, your fully edited gallery will be ready within 2–4 weeks. Photo albums may take a little longer depending on the printing process. I’ll keep you updated and let you know as soon as it’s ready.

Questions and Answers:
When to book a newborn photo session?
The ideal time to book is 1–2 months before your baby’s arrival. Contact me with your due date, and we’ll discuss your wishes, go over all the details, and I’ll make sure you feel prepared and excited for the session. After your baby is born, we’ll pick the perfect day to capture those precious first moments.
What is the best age for a newborn photoshoot?
The sweetest sleepy newborn sessions happen between 5 and 14 days old. That said, life doesn’t always follow a schedule — and that’s okay! I photograph babies up to 4–5 weeks old and still capture those tiny, peaceful moments. Every baby is different, so don’t stress if you’ve missed the first two weeks — reach out as soon as possible, and we’ll make it a beautiful session.
How many outfits do we change at a photo shoot?
I usually plan for 3–4 setups: some naked shots, some wrapped shots, and 1–2 outfits. Every baby is different, so I always go with their mood and comfort to make sure the session stays relaxed and enjoyable.
How does a newborn photo session go?
After your baby is born, we’ll schedule a date that works for you. On the day of the session, I bring all the props and gear to your home and set up the space, which usually takes about 20 minutes. You can feed your baby before we start, then hand them over to me—I’ll handle everything from posing to photographing. You’re welcome to relax, watch, or snap a few photos yourself. If your baby needs a feeding during the session, it’s up to you, though expressed milk in a bottle can help keep things smooth and calm. Sessions generally take 2–3 hours, depending on your baby’s mood.
My baby doesn’t sleep well, what if I can’t get a picture of them?
Don’t worry—every baby gets their photos! If your little one has trouble sleeping, we might need a bit more time, but the results are always worth it. With years of experience, I have a few tricks up my sleeve to help your baby settle.
Why are there so few pictures in the packets?
This is a question I hear a lot—and it makes sense if you’ve never experienced a newborn session! Unlike family or wedding shoots, which capture many moments, newborn photography is about creating a few perfect, timeless images.
Each photo is carefully crafted: I gently pose your sleeping baby, set up beautiful scenes, and capture those once-in-a-lifetime moments. Sometimes it takes up to an hour to create just one setup, because your baby’s comfort always comes first. If they wake, need feeding, or just want a cuddle, we pause and take our time.
A typical newborn session lasts about 3 hours, resulting in 12–20 fully edited, stunning photos—keepsakes you’ll treasure forever. You also have the option to add extra images to any package if you’d like more.
Why is it so important to schedule a newborn photoshoot within the first 1–3 weeks (up to one month at the latest)?
Because this is when your baby is still exactly how you remember them in those very first days of life…
✨ Deep sleep
During the first weeks, babies sleep a lot and very deeply. This allows for gentle posing in natural, beautiful positions without stress or discomfort.
✨ That newborn flexibility Their little hands, feet, and poses still reflect the womb position. As they grow, their bodies become more tense, and these poses are no longer possible.
✨ Less fussiness After 3–4 weeks, babies often become more sensitive, may experience colic, and sleep becomes lighter and less predictable.
✨ Skin changes Around one month, babies often go through a “skin blooming” phase — you may notice rashes, redness, or baby acne. In the first weeks, the skin is usually much clearer and smoother.
✨ Those first delicate features Everything changes so quickly — skin, facial features, even expressions. In just a few weeks, your baby already looks different.
✨ A moment you can’t get back These early days will never repeat. This is more than just photos — it’s a memory you’ll cherish for a lifetime.
