Hi, I’m Katya.
I’m a professional newborn and family photographer based in Raleigh, North Carolina, and a mom of two. Newborn photography is my specialty, but I love capturing every stage of childhood — from those first precious days to growing little personalities, milestones, and the connection between family members.
My work was recognized among the Top 10 Newborn Photographers in Russia in 2022, and one of my images was selected for a national photography contest. But what means the most to me is creating photographs that become part of your family’s story — images you’ll still love looking at years from now.

My experience
My journey in newborn photography began in 2013. Over the years, I’ve learned that photographing babies is about much more than creating a beautiful image. It’s about patience, safety, gentle posing, and knowing when to slow down and let the baby lead.

Safety is always my first priority. I’ve invested years in specialized newborn education and safety training, so you can feel confident knowing your baby is in experienced hands.
I believe the most beautiful newborn portraits are created with patience, gentle posing, and attention to every detail. My style is simple, elegant, and timeless — keeping the focus exactly where it belongs: on your baby.

Where I shoot
I believe your session should feel relaxed and comfortable. That’s why I bring the studio to you. Most of my newborn sessions take place in your home, where your family can stay comfortable and enjoy this special time without having to travel anywhere.
For family and children’s sessions, I love capturing natural moments outdoors — in beautiful parks, gardens, and other meaningful locations around Raleigh and the surrounding areas.
