  The ideal time to book is 1–2 months before your baby’s arrival. Contact me with your due date, and we’ll discuss your wishes, go over all the details, and I’ll make sure you feel prepared and excited for the session. After your baby is born, we’ll pick the perfect day to capture those precious first moments.  

When you book a newborn session, you’re not only paying for a few hours with a camera. You’re investing in:

Your baby’s first portraits are once-in-a-lifetime. They deserve the best — and the best can’t be cheap. 💫 Because these moments will never come again.

  The sweetest sleepy newborn sessions happen between 5 and 14 days old. That said, life doesn’t always follow a schedule — and that’s okay! I photograph babies up to 4–5 weeks old and still capture those tiny, peaceful moments. Every baby is different, so don’t stress if you’ve missed the first two weeks — reach out as soon as possible, and we’ll make it a beautiful session.  

  I usually plan for 3–4 setups: some naked shots, some wrapped shots, and 1–2 outfits. Every baby is different, so I always go with their mood and comfort to make sure the session stays relaxed and enjoyable.  

  After your baby is born, we’ll schedule a date that works for you. On the day of the session, I bring all the props and gear to your home and set up the space, which usually takes about 20 minutes. You can feed your baby before we start, then hand them over to me—I’ll handle everything from posing to photographing. You’re welcome to relax, watch, or snap a few photos yourself. If your baby needs a feeding during the session, it’s up to you, though expressed milk in a bottle can help keep things smooth and calm. Sessions generally take 2–3 hours, depending on your baby’s mood.  

  Don’t worry—every baby gets their photos! If your little one has trouble sleeping, we might need a bit more time, but the results are always worth it. With years of experience, I have a few tricks up my sleeve to help your baby settle—and sometimes, I even surprise parents with the cutest shots! 

  This is a question I hear a lot—and it makes sense if you’ve never experienced a newborn session! Unlike family or wedding shoots, which capture many moments, newborn photography is about creating a few perfect, timeless images.

Each photo is carefully crafted: I gently pose your sleeping baby, set up beautiful scenes, and capture those once-in-a-lifetime moments. Sometimes it takes up to an hour to create just one setup, because your baby’s comfort always comes first. If they wake, need feeding, or just want a cuddle, we pause and take our time.

A typical newborn session lasts about 3 hours, resulting in 12–20 fully edited, stunning photos—keepsakes you’ll treasure forever. You also have the option to add extra images to any package if you’d like more.
